hi people. my system below
i7 920 4GHz
x58A-UD3R
HD 5850
500GB seagate
Kingston HyperX 1600MHz CL9
Corsair HX 750W

I plan to crossfire 2 5850s or maybe 2 5870s do you think i can run it on my system with maybe no overclocking of the GPUs or slight overclock and still be running about maybe 6 hours a day?

Overclock that 5850 to match the 5870's performance, then get a second and repeat.
With all of that power you better be pumping some megapixels or you'll put such power to waste.

You have a Good PSU. You will be fine with two 5850s and probably 2 5870s as well. I think most people recommend 750W or greater for 2 5870s.

but i'm overclocking cpu to 4GHz @ 1.275v
