Specs:
GTX 260
2Gb Ram
Phenom 2 X3 720 @ 3.4Ghz
Windows 7 x64

Problem:
After playing several older games for a while (Postal 2 for example) My drivers will crash and recover. It will do it once, then be another 10 minutes or so until it does it again. Then the crashing and recovering will happen more often until eventually the game will crash.
It also happens with the game MineCraft.
This problem has also started to happen in my Windows XP boot.

Fixes I have tried:
Many different drivers (from newest beta back to 197.13, so far this has had the least crashing)
Disabling some Media Player thing that scans for new media (it was a fix for some people back in RC)
Turning up fan speed to reduce temperatures (temps were high when it was originally crashing, now they are much lower and it still happens)

Further info:
At this point I was thinking that it could possibly be my RAM? Not exactly sure.
