hi,

I just cant understand why my e7500 cant do 3.8ghz on my
gigabyte ep45t-ud3lr when it did it easily on my ASUS p5kpl-amps!!! the asus neither having any advanced controls nor memory divider!

somethings wrong i guess.....it even BSOD's at 3.6.
I'm feeding it enough vcore(tried 1.43 with LLC enabled)but still no luck...

i've kept my CPU termination voltage at 1.32v. is that enough?
cpu pll at 1.550v

anyone who can help me out?
my MCH voltage is 1.32 (FSB=1600),
do i have to increase the ICH voltage too? crysis keeps crashing after 15 min or so...

cant be my ram because its only running at 800mhz(its rated 1333)

any clue to why this thing is happening?
sny suggestion is welcome.

thank you.

Besides posting the exact model and quantity of DDR3-1333 installed, fill out this BIOS template for the GA-EP45T-UD3LR w/ all of your highest Prime stable settings (just disregard the settings in the template, and replace w/ your own)...

i'm running a single stick of CORSAIR XMSIII 1333mhz.

I need to see your highest Prime stable settings at < 3.6GHz, since in your first post you noted that you get BSODs at 3.6GHz, and in the template you listed 3.7GHz settings (370MHz x 10). And I need to know the exact model of RAM... either a part number, a link to Corsair's site, or pic's of CPU-Z open to both the Memory and SPD tabs.

sorry about that..it was actually.3.7ghz...
the settings above are stable at 3.7ghz

and i've attached pictures :)

the thing is ....i'm running a high vcore with LLC enabled...is it ok for my 45nm chip? its an e7500.

does this chip have an fsb wall or something?

Try taking it off the 400 NB strap, and instead use the 333 strap at a FSB of 370MHz. Also change the DRAM multiplier from 2.00D to 3.20B

Code:
Performance Enhance..........................[Standard]
(G) MCH Frequency Latch......................[333]
System Memory Multipler......................[3.20B]
Memory Frequency 1333........................[1184]

CAS Latency Time[7]..........................[9]
tRCD[7]......................................[9]
tRP[7].......................................[9]
tRAS[16].....................................[24]

Static tRead Value (Performance Level) = Auto
... and NB Voltage / MCH Core is way too high at 1.38V w/ only 1 x 2GB DRAM module installed.

Code:
MCH Core [1.100].................[1.100]
... and lower the Vtt back down to 1.2V

Code:
CPU Termination [1.200].................[1.200]

... and as far as max. Vcore, 1.45V is as high as you'll want to go on air. And E7500s can hit as high as 500MHz or higher on the bus, so your chip is nowhere near hitting a FSB wall at 370MHz.

thanks....will reduce my voltages...plus can you give me a good configuration near 3.8ghz? I've got an H50 so the temp's are a bit controlled...

plus whats the max safe i can go with this chip with LLC enbled? it requires a lot i think....

and will 380X10 be a lot slower than 9X424? does it really matter?
