Looking for good Gaming TV 30" + 1080P

I need a good Gaming TV, Idk which to get a 1080P LCD or a 1080P Plasma. I play mostly Gears of War competitively and SSF4, so I need a really low Response time and good hertz. I don't want 3D or any fancy things like that. I want really good contrast that pops. Hook me up with a link and I'll see what it's worth

30" +, 1080P, Low Response Time, Good Hertz, Good Contrast, Less than $1000

i know theres a big debate on plasma vs lcd so i know i wont be much of help but if you want a 1080p with good hertz plasma would be the choice on a budget plasma runs at 600 hz where lcd runs 60, 120, 240 (240 is max on lcd) and the higher the hertz on lcd the price will jump but on the other hand i play games all the time and cant tell much difference between my 600 hz plasma and 240 hz lcd when gaming
