Bad link...

2600 = not overclockable outside turbo
1333 ram = slow (not that you would notice really)

We build our own here... but decent deal for those that cant/wont!

Would you really be able to OC it anyway (it is a fancy dell after all) and doesn't the IMC for the 2600 technically only support up to 1333mhz? I mean, yeah, I'd rather build my own, but if someone wanted a higher end desktop and I wasn't there to build it, I'd point it out.

I believe you can oveclock Alienware systems.. NOt certain though. The sell "x" chips (990x) so....

Technically yes that what it supports, but most here run 1600Mhz.

This box has a market, its just not here.

Looks like some speculation, well I purchased one not with the GTX590 but with a pair of GTX 460's,875W, 2600K and the Asetek AH10 cpu cooler.
The last prebuilt new system I purchased was in 2003 so it has been awhile.

I build my own too, but I get curious.

The system will run 1600, and it has ratio and voltage options for overclocking,I will note the options and my highest OC in a separate thread for any that are curious too.
