Hey guys
I was just curious how to test a mobo board? You know.. make sure it's not DOA before I put it all together. What is needed? Just to make sure it starts up and at what point do you know it's okay to continue with the build? I would appreciate any pointers..Thanks

Well to do that you would need a slot based test card. It would tell you there is no CPU or memory installed.

Really you can hook up every thing up and test it in or out of the case

Agree with Archer0915.

Install all component out side of your case and test them.
