Bios on Asus MFA99X EVO wont accept overclocking

Hi there

Have an AMD 960t CPU with an Asus M5A99X EVO motherboard, 8gb DDR3 1600 memory, 700w psu.

In the Asus utility it gives opportunity to overclock, which I have tried but when it re-boots it accepts this but as soon as my pc powers down when im away from the computer the system hangs. I then have to switch off pc and then power up, it boots then a message from bios manufacturer indicates the overclocking din't work?

Any help wiould be really grateful

Most of us in the forum do n0t use software to do an overclock. We make adjustments to the bios itself. Using a utility makes choices by itself that maybe too extreme and cause crashes like you are getting.
