GTX 560ti or HD6950 for gaming on 55" LED TV

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hi,

Sorry if this questions has been asked before I am new to the OC forms.
I am gaming on a 55" LED TV and require a graphics card as my on board card cant even run Eve Online without totally crapping out.

I want to stay under the $300 price range. After doing some research I guess my options are

1: GTX 560ti 448
2: HD 6950 2GB
3: GTX 560ti

Is there really a need to have 2GB VRAM for a 55" display?
The max resolution would be 1920 X 1080 I beleive at 1080p

Thanks in advance

The gts 560 448 core will give you the best performance. No you don't need 2gb vram at 1080p. Ps the size of your screen means nothing. It could be a 50 inch 1368*768 screen. It's the res that's the only thing that counts here.

If you're only playing casual games and not after the best of the best performance wise for the latest games.. just get the cheapest out of the 3. Otherwise the 448 cores 560 is the strongest card there.
