So I'm playing skyrim and I get some screen tearing. Is there any way to get rid of it other than Vsync? I have forced it on, and set it to use the application settings and then turned Vsync on in the game and it doesnt help.

Vsync is the only thing that will remove it completely. From doing a quick read online, enabling vsync can cause some lag issues, specifically with the mouse. If you want to try it, open the skyrim.ini file and look for the following line, change it to a "1":

iPresentInterval=1
