Hey everyone,

I will be putting together my first build when the rest of my components arrive in the mail, but I have a question about a couple of them that I have now.

When choosing my RAM I kept telling myself to refer to the ASUS website and check the Memory Support List for what is compatible with my ASUS P8Z77-V. Well, I completely forgot to and I ordered G.SKILL Ares Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1866 (PC3 14900).

Newegg tells me that the Desktop Memory Model is F3-1866C10D-16GAB.

I may just be missing it on the provided list from ASUS, but I'm not seeing it.

Would they be compatible anyway or would it be best to find different RAM?

Thanks :salute:

You'll be fine.....Don't worry about it.

Board manufactures can't test all memory kits on the market, so they just test a sample batch.
