Hey guys,

I have pretty much upgraded my HTPC to a state where i can do some powerfull gaming on single screen, will be running 50" tv, with surround and i am looking for great games to lay back and play with xbox controller.

Currently i play F1 2012, and ProjectCARS, but im looking to move away from car gaming for a bit.

I have been told assassin's creed 3 is good, but i dont know if it good with joypad.

I am really looking for a game that works great with joypad. No limits, im open to trying anything at the moment.

To note: I use a wired 360 controller for a 'joypad'

The assassins creed games are great with controllers, Sleeping Dogs was good, GTA, fighting games, saints row 3.

^ +1.
As far as FPS shooters (Cod, BF3, etc.), I use mouse/keyboard...my controller skills fail at FPS.

I like using an Xbox 360 controller for some 3rd person shooters (Assassins creed, GTA, SR3, etc.) as well as other games.

I think most games now are able to be used with game pads. The only 1 I play that isn't is the Mass Effect series.

Joypad... sounds like the best of both worlds between a joystick and a gamepad.

Driving games (Dirt3), sports games (soccer/foobtball/basketball) and the Batman games are what I use my gamepad for.

Its not about the support, its about being a game where it really works well :)

I must say, AS3 is great with the 360 controller!:attn:

Similar to both, I played The Witcher 2 with a KB/mouse but it was just as good, if not better with a controller.

Here are games + Links; it should be noted that a few of these games have been ported over from xbox360 and have native controller support for any other game use xpaddler to get it up and running.

Games that are good but did'nt make the cut...
--------------------------------------------------

Zombie Driver HD-- driving / action -- overall gameplay gets repetitive very quickly.

Alien Breed: Impact -- did not spark my interest -- coop is limited to specific missions not the story.

Alien Breed: Assault -- did not spark my interest -- coop is limited to specific missions not the story.

Trine / Trine 2 -- The game is good and playable as all characters though the wizard gameplay is harder as it requires you to draw objects.

Delve Deeper
-- games feel long and slugish at times. Also you can win the game simply by camping the enemy team (Ai or your friend).

There are a lot of other games I can probably suggest, I am simply posting some that I personally Enjoy playing and depending on your HTPC most if not all should be able to run on your system. I'll update my list and add more as they come to mind and on another note I suggest waiting till the steam christmass sale comes around, you can get most of the games posted above at around 2-3$, 5$ MAX! :D
