I dont know if this is in the right forum, but what graphics card should i buy for about £100 (uk). I was thinking of maybe the Geforce4 MX440. What do you guys think??

sense you live in the UK, i dunno what kind of deals you
can find. i would look for a Radeon 8500 OEM, retail if lucky,
or a GeForce3 ti 200.

the GF4MX is nothing but a beefed up GeForce2MX

Yeah but the radeon 8500 is like £200 here which is like $280 US, i just though the mx would be good for the money.

if you have any friends or relatives across the pond see if theyre willing to send you an8500 or see if you can get enough money for the Geforce3 Ti200...

I wouldn't waste the extra cash on a GF4 MX440. I was pretty dissapointed with it's preformance when I bench marked it against GF2 cards. You're better off with an GF3 if you can find one cheap, or and ATI (I'd go retail rather than OEM with ATI).
