I have the 39c on any reason i shuld try the new abit beta th7h7c00?

I just noticed ( here ) that there is now a th7h7c01 dated april 19 ... ne1 know something about it ?

Beta BIOS TH7H_7C.B01 for TH7II/TH7II-RAID

1. Fix ACPI error in system event viewer after resume from STR mode
for Windows XP.
2. Support P4 2.4G(100) CPU.
3. Raise the adjustable CPU Core Voltage for 0.13 micron process
P4 (Northwood).
4. Fix occasional no POST with debug code 26 issue while "Fixed AGP=66"
option was enabled in SoftmenuIII.
5. HPT 37x BIOS version 2.0.1024. The RAID function is for TH7II-RAID
only. This BIOS version is also for non RAID boards and HPT BIOS
will be automatically disabled while RAID controller chip not
detected.
6. BIOS compile date: 4/19/2002.
 
whats the voltage go to with the c01 bios?

yep - it does. :)
but the HPT-Bios version used in the c01 gives me troubles. At the very end of the w2k boot, when the desktop icons are loaded, I have to move the mouse to generate interrupts and keep windows loading :confused:
- at least i beleave it's the HPT-Bios that's causing that.

the perfect bios for me would be the 39c with the cold-boot fixing code from the c01 ...
 
So I guess Mr Naturals will have to mod those BIOSes to up the voltage !! it's cool that the cold boot issue has been fixed !
 
I am going to stay with Mr. N's bios. I didn't even try this new one. I don't cold boot at all, so it is really not an issue. I run 24x7.

When Mr. N hacks into this one and adds his tweaks, I'll flash.
