got some emachines at our work the model is t1740 and they are 1.7 ghz emachines. with usb 2.0 so its the 845g chipset. BTW i work at Best Buy.

yeah they didnt want to have performance similar to the p4 so thats why they did this.

The "celeron" T is a much better choice while they last. You're getting what used to be called a P3 for dirt cheap.
