Hello.. new to the forums..

Need your advice on something..

I'm currently using the AX-7 heatsink, but i got a slight problem. I've switched fans twice and the screws are starting to slip. Seems the alufins fails in holding the screws into place..

Any advice on what to do? I'm not that keen on running it with a loose fan.

twistie ties? pretty ghetto but that's how I mounted my two 120mm fans on my BIX. IF you do a good job and use black ones it's hard to see.

You could also try using rubber grommets as a sort of countermeasure to the screws slipping. Dunno if it would help much, but try putting some on the screws below the fan, ie where the fan and AX-7 meet. See if that helps GRIP the fan to the AX-7 more and prevent the vibrations. Or tape, or epoxy as mentioned.
