You probably could lower timing on it to 9-9-9-24 but just make sure you lower one setting at a time meaning try 9-9-9-27 then if that is stable start lowering the tRas (i think thats what thats called). Or you could just oc the system clock to oc the ram but this also oc's cpu, northbridge and hyperlink.

HyperPi's 32m test is probably the best ram test out there.

9-9-9 might fly, 8-9-8 is worth trying also.

Have you bumped the CPU-NB voltage up yet? You'll probably need to in order to get 1866MHz ram speeds.
