Hi,

I want to add a second fan to my HSF Enermax ETS-T40-TB. Is there any independent/reliable evidence that it actually helps lower temps over a single fan setup?

Thanks
Haider

It definitely helps temps, just not by much (2-3C difference). This is assuming that your initial fan had enough static pressure to push air through. If you had something like a Scythe Slipstream (high airflow, low static pressure) as a push fan, a 2nd one as pull would have a bigger effect.

Hmmm I see, need to check the pressure.

For the Enermax ETS-T40-TB fan 37.57 – 86.70 CFM and 0.72 – 2.41 mm-H2O static pressure and 10 ~ 21dBA. I could not find the static pressure for the Scythe Slipstream, so I'm wondering is Enermax low static pressure to?
