A half year ago my score was at 13268 then it dropped to around 12000 after reinstalling windows vista and now its at 11714, even at a higher frequency.
What do you think could be causing this?
i have a Pentium e5300 and a 4850 512mb on a p45 motherboard; didn't change hardware

Could be many things.
Drivers, hardware degrading, the vista install...

By looking at your scores I dont think its the cpu bringing your scores down.
Id look into drivers and your GPU overclock.

just ran it again and got even lower 11637, ill try older drivers

3dmark06 is very cpu dependent. If you are running things like utorrent, and your antivirus' 'active scanning' (or whatever AVG calls it) is enabled, you will see a significant drop in your score. Disable avg while you run the test. Kill off any processes that are not needed for the time being.

no, it was drivers used older ones and score went up thanks for suggestions
