4 Pin Male to 8 Pin Female EPS Power Cable Adapter

Folks:

I'm frustrated. I have a new power supply

Trying to use it on this mobo

My problem is that the mobo has a 4 pin ATX CPU plug. The power supply has an 8. The only adapter I can find is backwards to what I need.

Any ideas for me?

If the 8pin isn't a 4+4, usually you can just line up the pins and just plug the 4 in that fit, so you will 4 pins hanging off to the side.

Yes I had interference and could not plug in half so I need the cable you gave me the link to. Perfect.

According to the corsair specs it has 1 x 4+4 Pin EPS 12V connector, it should work. Are you sure your plugging in the correct one?

You are right Mandrake4565. I had no clue those came apart. Yes yes I'm a noob LOL.
