I was just about to solder on a 100k ohm VR's and I wanted to test the stock resistance for both gpu and mem. I have read that the stock resistance for the gpu is 5.13k ohm. Well when I measure it I get 2.67k ohm. :-/ When I measure the stock resistance for the mem I get 3.94k ohms which is exactly what I should be getting.

I do have a "funky" PCB, it's a reference card but it is blue and is missing half of the capacitors on the front. Here is a link to some pics of it.

The question of the day is, should the mod still work even tho I'm reading a different stock resistance?

Anyone have any theories on why I'm measuring 2.67k ohms instead of 5.13k ohms? I did mod the bios to 1.2v as well.
