EDIT: can some mod please delete this thread? I ment to post this in the Intel section..sry :\
I am gonna move to Intel soon..I was wondering should I get the Pentium D 820 or the LGA 630? I am kind of tight on budget and would like to get the most out of it. The 820 is priced sub 300 (saw it at $280 the other day) and the 630 is about $220ish. Is it worth it to spend $50 more over the 630?
I mainly using the internet and some heavy tasking a lot. Stuffs like having firefox with 10+ tabs, aim, msn, dreamweaver, audio mixer, and I barely game, all I play is Warcraft 3 for now and I know it doesn't need a good CPU/video card to play. I would like to NOT having any lag while extracting/zipping/encoding stuffs..is the 820 the way to go?
P.S a side question..what does "muilti-tasking" really means?
