8320 Temps in HWMon - Temp monitoring issue or is my cooler that good?

I got to looking at my logs in HWMon and noticed a few things that didn't look right

Unless this is one hell of a cooler how is my CPU sitting at room temp and under load playing BF4 it only reached 96 degrees or 37c.

I'm baffled by this possibility

Your only using a few cores, not all of them. Temps look good buddy.

If you want hot, try running Prime95 for a couple of hours. And if you really want hardcore testing, run OCCT linpack back to back with Prime95 and that should bring on the heat and stress something fierce!

Games generally tax the gpu more. Your cpu isn't under full load So temps aren't going to rise that high.

The temp sensors on the Fx chips are not accurate at idle, they are accurate only under load around 40c. That said BF4 isn't an incredibly Cpu taxing game.

This is my FX-8350 on a AIO water cooler.



The CPU is under full load 100% all 8 cores.
