8800 Fan Speed Control nTune Vista

So now that it is getting hot again where I live, I wanted to crank up the fan speed on my 8800 in Vista. I go into nTune and the options to change the speed are grayed out.

I'm running the official 158.18 forceware drivers that are right off of nvidia's site. I tried reinstalling nTune and that didn't work. I also tried looking for any other program to change my 8800's fan speed in Vista and I couldn't find any....

Someone mentioned in another forum if you unplug the blue wire on the card that the fan is connected to it will run at 100% all the time....any idea if this is true?

I think that the blue wire tells how many rpms the fan is spinning at.
