ADATA is joining the ranks with their first RGB LED memory line, the XPG Spectrix D40. ADATA has sent us a 2x8 GB kit of 3000 MHz DDR4 from this line for testing. My first impression was this kit looks very similar to their XPG Dazzle which we reviewed*a while back since it sports the same red and black heatsinks*but as you'll see it does have some major differences.

TR officially has no 3000 memory setting so this memory wasn't designed for new AMD but it may work at 2933 and is high chance on that.
 
I did have the kit working fine at 2933 on a Crosshair VI AM4 board, so it's quite likely it would do the same on TR4
