Chrome is not trustworthy at all to begin with so I would flat out not recommend it at all. But hey, if you are into google and it's myriad of endless useless services then go for it. Edge I could care less about as it is nothing but a chrome wannabe.
Personally I have been using ublock origin in waterfox. Someone suggested adguard, which ublock origin has filters for, so no adguard needed. I just recently installed privacy badger as they have revamped the way it works. It uses heuristics now only and is self-learning to block tracking cookies. The more you browse the better it works. It does not block ads so I have kept ublock origin. Plus I installed adblock-killer killler, a script, which requires, in waterfox's case, tampermonkey beta.
Since google wants to be the sole controller of how ads get blocked, thereby effectively killing off any competition, any browser that works like chrome will no longer be able to create adblockers much less block any that google will force you to allow once manifestv3 comes into play.
