Hello, need some quick answers that have been bothering me for a while.
Ive always seem to get low Memory speed on the Overdrive benchmark.
And its bothering me because i think it could be a bottleneck?
I did a few google searches and found rigs much older than mine gets much higher speeds.
I have been trying clocking the speed and trying both ganged and unganged, and the difference is minor.
I have a
Phenom II 3.4ghz x 4
with CMX8GX3M4A 1333 C9 memory. 4 x 2gb.
Mainboard: Crosshair Formula IV
The memory are currently working at 700 mhz, where stock is 667.
I usually buy pretty decent memory, but if the reason are that i need more expansive memory, what kinds should i go for then?
The results on amd overdrive are:
Integer Computation: 19280
Floating point computation: 18050
Memory Speed: 3200
Cache Speed: 17128
Ive seen people with old computers getting 5-8k, why do i get so low?
could this be a bottleneck?
I also get around 3500 score in 3dmark 11 ''Physics'' too.
I didnt belive my cpu was that bad.... could it be the memory?
