are there any catches to streaming internet tv?

I don't know any, with winamp I doubt that they put any spyware. Feel free to watch your x rated stuff. the only catch that is with this program is that winamp wants people to be happy with the player so they comeback and purchase full version with extra features.

meionm is right. absolutely no spyware and you cant stream viruses as far as I know on winamps shoutcast servers which stream using .nsv. No catches whatsoever. I regularly tune into their Radio for the urban music.

The only thing the payed version does that the free does not is burn CD's
