Ok SO i ordered this mobo a Asus M3N78-EMH HDMI which accepts:
4 x USB 2.0/1.1
8 -Channel Audio I/O
1 x HDMI/ DVI/ RGB
Internal I/O Connectors 4 x USB connectors supports additional 8 USB 2.0 ports
1 x Floppy disk drive connector
1 x IDE connector
6 x SATA connectors
1 x CPU Fan connector
1 x Chassis Fan connector
1 x S/PDIF Out connector
1 x 4-pin ATX 12V Power connector
1 x 24-pin EATX Power connector
1 x LPT connector

so my ps accepts the asrock n68-s which im upgrading from which accepts-

4 x SATAII 3.0 Gb/s connectors, support RAID (RAID 0, RAID 1, RAID 0+1, RAID 5 and JBOD), NCQ and "Hot Plug" functions
- 1 x ATA133 IDE connector (supports 2 x IDE devices)
- 1 x Floppy connector
- 1 x Print port header
- CPU/Chassis FAN connector
- 24 pin ATX power connector
- 4 pin 12V power connector
- Front panel audio connector
- 2 x USB 2.0 headers (support 4 USB 2.0 ports)

will I have to buy an adapter to get my ps to support this?
 
It's all good. Motherboard main power connectors are all 24-pin now. I don't know why one call it "ATX" and the other "EATX" though, but it will work.

thanks, I actually got the mobo and just connected everything fine, having issues with installing the ram though..
