Didn't all or most am3+ boards ship with pci-e 16x - 16x slots?
hardly a bottleneck even for sli/xfire...

The 990FX chipset boards do but not all the cheap shett most seem to buy. When there is only 1 full x16 video slot they also have seemed to dumb down the rest of the mobo such as VRM circuit. Cheap is not really inexpensive but capable.
