Hi guys.
I'm on market now for the 16 Gb of ram for my system:

Motherboard: ASUS P7P55D PRO
CPU: Core i7 860@ 4.0 Ghz
Cooler: Noctua D14 + 140mm+120mm
RAM: 2x4 Gb DDR3 1333 Hynix
Video: Radeon XFX 290X 4Gb (XFX Refference)
HDD: SDD Crusial M4 256gb + WD Black 1 Tb + WD Black 500 Gb + WD Black 500 Gb
Power supply: FSP Aurum 1000w
Case: Antec P193

Here is screenshot of my current Ram. 2 modules 4Gb per each.

So, what i'm thinking about now is - replace my Ram with 16 Gb (2x8Gb DDR3 1600mhz bundle) or add another 2 modules of 4Gb of 1333 mhz.
Officially this mobo doesn't support 8gb modules but I've seen couple threads about this topic and some users succeed to make it work properly with 2x8Gb config.

Who aware of this topic - let me know pls. :salute:

In this case, I am not sure. I would go for with what the QVL list says personally... make sure you get the same exact sticks or you could run into stability issues. It is up to you if you want to take the risk of 2x8GB.
