ATI killed my GUI?

i'm running mandriva 2006.
I wanted to install ATI drivers so that I can properly play neverwinter nights, okay, everything fine, but after the install I rebooted as they said I should, and any trace of a GUI has dissapeared.
usually, typing "startkde" should start up kde, but it doesn't. it spits a whole bunch of errors in my face.
what do I do about this?
right now i'm on my windows HD...

oh, I forgot to mention, I uninstalled the ATI drivers, I tought that might help. it didn't.

nevermind, I fixed it. I did xf86config and it works now. thanks anyway
