I also wounders, I got a E6600 and PC8500 RAM that I want to speed up to 1066 at the least, should I stay on DDR 667? I tried PC-800 but had to reset CMOS.

Or... should I go x8 and increase clock until I reach 1066 at DDR 667? I am a complete rookie trying to get this train going

I have E6600 and AW9D-max with Uguru

What increments do i go up in?
Is it safe to put it straight into turbo mode lol

I have here a quite old computer and its still working. Its Pentium III. It's quite slow and I want to make it faster, one of my colleagues gave me an advice to overclock it. I have read articles and guides online about overclocking. I followed it but on it's BIOS, I can't change the speed. Is there any way to enable it? Thanks for those who'll help me..........
