Imagine being in a multi-level building only to have the whole thing collapse around you.
I'd prefer not to imagine that

Ya baby lets do it...Crysis 2 sucked, if BF3 sucks gaming is over for pcs
While I agree that Crysis 2 may not have been as good as we hoped but it certainly didn't suck. Compared to a lot of games out there it was actually a good title, plus it had a lot to live up to since the first was such an amazing game.

Isn't the multiplayer just as crappy as the original? (This is indisputable, it really is.) But it has a decent single player?
Sounds like a repeat to me.
My last hope for this years game releases is bf3.
Me to, I hope Rage lives up to the hype.Same here, but I would also like to mention RAGE it seems like that will be a great game. Then again I would buy anything released by ID.
Any of you game with a controller or are most of you die hard keyboard/mouse combo? I think the reason I mainly play console is because I never felt comfortable with the keyboard/mouse setup. I really dislike the PS3 controllers as well. As you've probably guessed I'm mainly an XBOX guy.
Also if you want to take advantage of your HT setup pc is the way to so, nice high quality sound card and you are set.I'm really big into sound and home theater stuff. I have high end speakers and room shaking subs (literally). With that said, how does using a mic on the pc work (not a fan of headphones)?
Welcome NiceguyEdy
I hope you will enjoy PC gaming, IMO its quite a bit different than console gaming. When you custom build a PC, its not just some random PC, its YOUR PC.
64 people is quite something, but on some games (like battlefield 2 mods) you can get 128 players and thats mayhem haha.
Its all about getting used to the mouse + keyboard, when I let my xbox friends use my PC, they could not control the mouse at 1800dpi , which i use for daily usage so I had to set it to 300dpi
Give it 2-3 weeks before you fully adjust to kb/m, my friend hardly played any games on his pc because of controls. I gifted him tf2 and he was playing decent in 3wks.

These tactics of yours will be useless against PC gamers You are seriously going to feel the disadvantage of using that controler against someone like me in any FPS game. Your thumbs will be no where near fast enough against a well callibrated gaming mouse with dpi through the roof. I would seriosly suggest trying the keyboard and mouse, it will take some time to get used to but in the long run you will be a better player. A friend of mine just got his first gaming computer (my spare parts )and had never used a key board or mouse, now he is getting better day after day and is now a challenge for me to kill sometimes.I do plan to use a 360 controller when I play. It just feels more natural to me, I understand that I might be at a disadvantage when playing, but hopefully my tactics I've learned over the years will help.
