Best AMD APU (CPU + GPU) for Budget Desktop?

Now that I have done before. Handed off and moved up. He would be getting something that he has seen doing the job before. Might work out if can get the monies right.

Thanks all for your help. I've made the choice to give the man his i5 3570k CPU so no more AMD A10 talk from me. I am continuing at http://www.overclockers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=724110 for z77 motherboard options.

Asus only for higher end boards...ROG.
Gigabyte for lower priced good z77 boards, z77x-ud3h and d3h.
Asrock for extremely cheap board: Extreme 4.
As for the AMD debate, no clue...

Is VIA VT2021 better or worse than Realtek ALC892, do you know? I am comparing the Asrock Extreme4 to Gigabyte UD3H

Yeah that's what I thought so too, so then the GIGABYTE GA-Z77X-UD3H should be ok.

UD3H is a bit more solid and I prefer Gigabyte over Asrock, but both are fine.

Gigabyte is better, if you want a better board buy that one. xD
