Hi all

i need some advice on what is the best buy.

1- Asus 7970 DC II TOP (just one for now)

2- 2 x Asus Matrix gtx 580 (sli)

having in mind that i can buy a second 7970 in 2 months if needed...

i have write now these components for the new rig:

Board - Asus Rampage IV Extreme
PSU - Corsair AX 1200 Gold
Ram - 4x4GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3-1866, [email protected]
CPU - Intel Core i7 3930K C2
CPU Cooler - Corsair H100
SSD - Corsair Force GT 120GB
HDD - Samsung F3 1TB
Case - Xigmatek Elysium

just the choice of GPU is breaking my head :bang head

any help will be appreciated...

What resolution are you playing games at? If 1920x1200 or less, there isnt a remote need for SLI/Crossfire of a 580/570/6970/6950/7970/7950.

i have a single full hd screen (1920x1080), and i understand your means...

so this is just: gtx matrix 580 vs 7970 DCII

what do you think ? my doubt is radeon vs nvidia

Thank you all for help, i will buy the 7970 :)

just about the psu it will consume too much power with just one card or it stay low? (Corsair AX 1200)
