BF2 CD error

I search around for the answer, but seems no one else is having this problem.

After installing the game last night (just got it) it says to put CD 2 in the drive to play it. CD 2 is in the drive. I even click "play" from the menu that pops up when cd 2 is put in the drive.

The only way the game runs is if I put cd 1 in the drive? Is this normal?

I did update to v1.03

then don't worry about it, just keep CD1 in the drive and play. I personally have the DVD version so I am not sure exactly about the CD, but as long as it plays...

I think CD1 is the play disc.
