BFG 7800 OC GS HELP...

i jsut got this mosnter and i know theres something wrong when i got more frames in CS:S, HL2, CS1.6, WOW with a GF4 mx4000 64mb card than i do with this thing... someone please help..

Did you remove old driver piror to installation new one and did you install new driver for the card.

im using vista so it did that for me..

and i DLed and installed the vista drivers for it..

maybe its vista making things run slow..

Well, Vista is not helping, that's for sure. Try it with XP.

apparently vista drivers werent installed.. i just checked it.. now im downloading 97.52-vista-x86.exe ill let you know when it gets done..

ok now those wont install... **** windows vista.. here comes windows xp sp3 most wanted edition...

I thought Vista requires PCI-E?

It doesn't require it, it will just work better on a good PCI-E system. But to buy 32-bit Vista when you already have a good 32-bit OS(WinXP), would be a waste of money, IMO.
