kudos to nVidia for these significantly better drivers most people didnt expect much from them. This really helps nVidia become more competative against ATi which is always a good thing

above quote said:
* Up to 80% performance increase in Lost Planet: Colonies

woah i missed that before, there musta been some sort of issue with that game, i wish they could do that with other games, i know theres more left in the drivers than this even on 8 series cards.

any way installed em, meh no biggie. some funky glitchy textures though in various games

i wish i got that big of a jump in far cry 2 :( far cry 2 didnt give me any boost at all :(

probably being that im still running a 8800gtx and i play games at 1680x1050. I bet most people will see the performance boost on G90 and up :( o well

Yeah, the newer 200 series cards are going to benefit the most, I think. Also, its too bad FC2 borked my game and I can't progress further. I had 20hrs in and I'm not starting over. :(

well that blows

yeah you dont want to the ending is gay made me want to :bang head

this is getting off topic but yeah, I had a friend tell me the ending.. not missing it.

I was a little irked after reading about these because I'd gone back and forth between choosing a 4850 or a 9800GT, got a dealie on a 4850 then a few days later ATi announced their new push for Stream processing and that made me happy because I can forgo a quad core for now. I saw these game performance bumps in games and was like 'd'oh.' Then I remembered that NV does infrequent WHQL drivers so versus monthly ATi drivers that have small compunded increases it's probably a wash.

It certainly is a good thing! Despite my posting above driver speedups from either company is good news. :) They're 'free' too, as long as there's nothing shady going on like lower IQ it's all good.

I also see that multi-monitor SLi is listed...can anyone see if that actually works?

Bone stock CPU and GPU clock runs. 180.43 first, then 180.48.
