So my last MOBO fried and I finally have the replacement in and ready to go. I am using an MSI z97, and I'm mobile right now so if you need more info just ask and I'll fetch it.

So the issue is that when I power on the PC everything powers on, fans, peripherals, and even the "for show" LED on the MOBO. But that's it. There is no beep to indicate that the computer has started at it doesn't even boot to BIOS. I've tried switching to the onboard graphics but to no avail.

Thoughts?

Are you using the same processor that was in the other board when it fried?
Collateral damage my friend.

Well I dug the RAM out of my wife's desktop and it seems to be working alright for now, so I may very well need new RAM. 4GB isn't going to cut it. I am going to check each of my other sticks to see if I can determine if any of them survived.
