So I am finally getting around to upgrading my rig that is 4 years old. Going back to AMD after a stint with Intel.

Anyway, I have a GPU (Nvidia GTX 260), couple of hard drives and DVD-burner.
So what I am looking for now after buying my proc is a mobo and memory, although I have a pretty good idea of memory I want.

I do not plan to initially OC my proc (for a lot of reasons), so OC'ing is not a huge requirement at this time.

Here is the proc I bought:

I also am eyeing some GSkill memory, 4gigs DDR3 1600 memory.

So the piece I need is a motherboard.
No RAID.
Two SATA drives and 1 DVD drive.
Will run Windows 7 64bit.

Thats about it.

Appreciate the help.

Cheers.

I've never owned either but people are having good luck with Biostar on the AMD side

If you are able to go just a bit more for a board then you may want to consider the Biostar TA890FXE at $130. This is the first time I have really tried to do an over clock on a system and this board has been very forgiving of a newbie.

Biostar TA890FXE review by SPLAT IN that was posted on here, also Xokeman did a really nice write up on it as well Biostar TA890FXE cheap and awesome!, just some food for thought.
