As the title says, I will be building a small form factor for playing movies and blu rays on my 50" plasma in our living room. Basically it will consist of a micro ATX motherboard with onboard video capable of HDMI out. I will use a 1155 socket dual core Intel chip (maybe a G860 Sandy Bridge), along with a 60gb SSD and a blu ray drive. If using Windows 7 how much ram will I need to give good speed out of this pc? 4 or 8 gb DDR3? I would like it to be pretty quick but of course no need for gaming at all. Should be able to do it for about $300 Canadian.

Thanks in advance.

Agreed, but building it myself is much more fun, and I do have a spare motherboard hanging around so it just made more sense to make one. :)
