The combo link, is not available anymore, you will need like a 500w for that system, powersupplies that I know about are, Ikonik 500w gaia, Seasonic M/S12 520w, Huntkey Jumper 550w, corsair cx/hx 450/550, I don't know what antec has in that range.(Yes the 450w would probably be good enough)

Your cpu(will clock nicely) and ram is fine, but your mobo is kind of a waste, is there no way of getting a bigger case?

Graphic card matters more for gaming than most other things.

Good luck:thup:

I have always had great luck with Antec for PSU's. They have a great selection of higher efficiency power supplies that are funeral-home-quiet. I would personally not worry too much about getting fancy features like a modular PSU. Like an SSD it's great if able, but it's an add-on if you are flush with cash or a great deal is available. It is not Mission Critical.

On any PSU check the rails. Make sure each rail provides enough amperage for that you are using. A lot of them split the power into smaller rails which can cause issues. It's not a deal breaker, but it's enough that if you see one PSU has a single 30A rail and another has 2 x 20A rails and you're using a big-a$$ video card with Raid, post a message to verify with the specialists on the board which is better.

Oh, why in the world are you going Intel if you are building a "budget" system? For equivalent performance, AMD tries to underprice Intel by a specific percentage. Check out cpubenchmarks.net, specifically the searchable list. They have a number for performance divided by cost. Sort of a bang-for-the-buck number.

Also, it's very important to figure out what games you may be playing and ask about them. As I recall, some games are not making full use of the extra CPU's in a multi-core processor. If this is the case, you should definitely not waste money on extra cores but get a CPU with fewer cores that crunch more numbers.

Finally, verify the heck out of anything you read on this board. The process of verifying what you read here is correct and not just BS will teach you a great deal. Best to make educated choices than to get schooled.

Good luck!
