There will be much better options for release. IMO the two parts you shouldn't skimp on are your CPU and Mobo. I'd wait to see what's released.

Yeah, but i do have a pretty strict budget. and i cant really cut any corners....paying 60 for a case....60 for a HDD.....120 for 8gb of ram :D and 100 for a psu....Basically 300 left over for the mobo and pcu.

I'd save on other things. For example, there are very few individuals who will utilize 8GB ram. If you get 4GB you can easily pick up some more later if you find it isn't enough. Also, what psu are you using? Chances are that for $100 bucks you're probably getting way too much wattage for your needs. The CPU/Mobo is the last thing you want to change out. Any updates should be made to the other hardware first, i.e. GPU, HDD, RAM, etc.

Well i'm not getting a GPU yet, HDD is a samsung F3 yeah.lol not much to cut back on, and i'm getting the 8b cause its the only way i can get a 4gb stick from this particular seller.

PC Case Gear is an Australian website buddy, that build is in all AUD.

Sweet!

I'll have to dig deeper in it then :D I may just get my intel build then.lol

It seems a little bit pricy.....the PCU is great, but is there a Mobo that i would be able to use that is abit cheaper? Cause i'll also need more ram and hdd space.

If you're in the Melbourne area there's MSY there's no problems with service (as there is none). You have to go in, but if you can deal with the people behind the counter being there to scan your stuff and push you out the door, their prices are near unbeatable around the area.

You can also try : Static Ice to do the price comparisons and get yourself a deal!

Pretty far from melbourne.lol

There's cheaper boards, probably better value if you get P67. I suggest getting 4GB now, better to have less RAM then a crappy CPU and motherboard. Also, the 1TB Samsung Spinpoint F3 is just a few bucks more.

Yeah. So is everybody against AMD? Is it not just as good as Intel? and cheaper?

Intel's dominating right now because they just have better stuff out. AMDs new stuff is supposed to come out pretty soon, supposed to finally win the performance crown back, usually AMD is just better price/performance.

Ok....Final build, i'm somewhat happy to it but i dont want to be ignorant to any mistakes.lol
