can i Trust the Nvidia Monitor View temps?

Ive been using this tool to watch my CPU temps. but going from 3.0-3.2ghz was like 1-2*C difference.

starting to wonder here
this is at 100% boinc crunching

What meionm said, the nVidia Monitor thing is really quite shoddy in my opinion ... Download RealTemp - its much better as it calibrates itself based on your chips sensors, I've found it provides much more accurate temps

yes i found out with core temp that just because the nview thingy says 54*C there is 1 or 2 cores that can b e 59*C which isnt cool when your trying to see what your cores are at the max.. would be great to fry the 1 core because for some reason it is running hotter than the other 3.
