I'm looking to build a car pc and would like to have the capability to undervolt/clock the board to conserve power. I wanted to ask if the following boards can be underpowered.
 
I would imagine so, yes. Both are z77 based which gives you more options to fiddle with things like voltages and multipliers. That said, I would just leave the power saving features on any board and you should be fine anyway.

If someone could confirm it would be great. I recall reading that (IIRC) the ASRock does not allow undervolting.
 
Asrock does... sure. I mean you just need voltage control and lower the voltage... You can also google the mobo model to see the bios for yourself if nobody comes along to confirm as you want.
