Cannot OC on MSI Z68A-G43 / 3570K despite latest BIOS for Ivy?

Hi guys,

As mentioned I have an MSI Z68A-643 (G3) board with a 3570K. The BIOS has been updated to the latest version 5.2 from MSI's website: http://www.msi.com/support/mb/Z68AG43_G3.html#down-bios.

However, I am still not able to make any changes at all in the BIOS OC settings.

Have you tried clearing the cmos via removing the battery for a few minutes? Unplug psu from wall, remove said battery for a few minutes (5-10). Reinstall battery, plug psu back into wall and reboot the system. Should be able to have adjustments in the bios.

Try rolling back one BIOS version to 5.0?

Could you provide more details about your issue ?
What do you mean by "I am still not able to make any changes at all in the BIOS OC settings" ?
Does it freeze instantly when you change anything or values don't move at all or changes are not applied, etc.
