I think i have found my problem with my overclocking and why its not stable.

This stupid mobo keeps putting back on spread spectrum in the bios .
Theres no way to disable it that i can see. Its grayed out and u cant select it.

The only way i have found to disable it is to enable the stupid MSI overclocking feature. It has a bunch of moron settings like COMMANDER AND GENERAL . If i set it to PRIVATE it will disable spread spectrum but the system wont boot at anything over 2500 mhx with this setting on..

ANyone with a k8n neo 2 please help out with this problem.

Sorry i would have posted this in the msi section but its a ghost town over there.

What BIOS?

I'll bet you just flashed to the v 1.90 BIOS. For some strange reason MSI have locked the spread spectrum on "Enabled".

well i fixed it. I flashed back the the 1.8 and its locked at disabled.

Leave it to msi to mess up a good thing. Why on earth would they do that.

What a stupid company.

Usually you need to be at default settings then you should be able to disable it. If you start to change your HTT then it will grey it out. But I am glad to see you fixed it!
