SOLVED Case Fan Hub Issue

I'm trying to build in my phantom 630 case, and I'm trying to unplug some of the case fans from the case fan hub, but they are extremely stubborn and don't want to come out of the hub. I can't tell if there's some sort of locking mechanism or what, but it's grinding me to a fault.

Does anyone have experience with fan hubs or NZXT fans? Are either known to have a locking mechanism?
