I’ve been through this before going from a mag drive to SSD, however this time I built the system on WIN 7 Home Premium, still have the disc...but since then I upgraded to WIN 10.

Now my old C drive has WIN 10, so trying to boot on my new SSD my only boot disc is the WIN 7. When I boot from the CD, I have the repair option but returns to same BOOTMGR error.

I still have the old C drive, please advise on how to get new cloned drive to work.

Many thanks.

All is working. I did find my new drive in the bios and I was able to boot from it. I expanded my unallocated space and while I did get this error..

I was still able to choose "Advanced options" and continue to Windows 10.

Not sure what's going on there but so far so good.
