Wicked specs! But unless you have a picture of primochill coupler fittings used to pass through a mid-plate, that's not aswering my question :D i'll be getting a 900D

Hi Farwalker, your thread was a pleasant read :)
I'm guessing I got everything figured out now, everything has been ordered and I'm waiting for my shipping confirmations. Got some Coldzero panels too to make everything look even better.

As for those coupler fittings, two of them have arrived at home and my dad measured them for me (won't be home until mid May). There's a spacing of 6mm between the two caps. The Coldzero mid-plate is 3mm thick, so I'll probably have to use a few washers. This is the only thing there's left to figure out, I'll do that once I start assembling everything. I'll make sure to add some pictures of that as well, others might just have the same question one day :)

Question: Has anybody over here ever used the Primochill coupler fittings to have a loop pass through a case's mid-plate? Wondering if they can be used for this and what the spacing is between the two 'coupled' fittings. The mid-plate will be custom made so thickness can vary based on this spacing.

Cheers

There are specialist fittings to do that. Using a coupler fitting would be difficult because they are narrower in the middle than on each end so the hole would have to be larger than the right size to hold it snugly.
If you just google pass through fitting you will see many different brands but they all work the same way. The Bitspower and EK versions are my favourites.

Got me a few Bitspower fillport/pass-through fittings just to be sure.

These boxes are already waiting for me to get home, many more still incoming

And this little guy is guarding it all, he'll be my build buddy :D
